Studentships
BBSRC is continuing to support the course by making three Masters Level Studentships available in each of the years 2010-2012. These awards are allocated competitively and are open to UK and EU nationals. Successful UK applicants will receive tuition fees and a stipend. Successful EU applicants will receive tuition fees only unless they have been resident in the UK for the preceding 3 years.
A Marie Curie Studentship is open to applicants from the EU (excluding the UK) who choose the Animal Breeding and Genetics programme.
Details of sources of funding for non-EU students are available here.
Other useful sources of information about scholarships and bursaries include the University of Edinburgh Scholarships and Student Funding Services website and the Scholarship Search website.
Applicants who wish to be considered for the BBSRC and Marie Curie Studentships should apply as early as possible and by 31st March 2012 at the latest.
Other awards may have earlier deadlines - please check the website of the funding body for details.
